You knew a few of them in the past, you've come to know them for their well-run, quality events that offer enormous payouts, and now They Are Back with World Team Roping Productions guaranteeing more money and more placings, but what do you know about the people behind the success of the organization? Here's an inside glimpse into the lives of our office staff . . . Bobby Barter - President, booger@worldteamroping.com After five long years, he is back on the team roping scene – bigger and better than ever! In his previous team roping career, Barter was responsible for awarding over $8,500,000 in cash, 277 pickup trucks, 102 horse trailers, 1,344 trophy saddles, 2,036 buckles, and $664,000 in added money at over 270 team roping events. While away from the roping pen, Bobby has created the nation’s single largest barrel racing company known as World Barrel Racing Productions. Prior to his career in rodeo productions, Bobby graduated from TCU with a degree in Ranch Management and was a real estate appraiser in Victoria, Texas. When not on the road, he enjoys spending time with his two sons, Jesse and Bandera. T.C. Long – Operations Manager, tclong@worldteamroping.com T.C. began working with Bobby in December of 2002 as an announcer for Booger Barter Productions. In 2005 he then switched jobs and joined Bobby once more as the Operations Manager of World Barrel Racing Productions. Also, at the young age of 22, T.C. was accepted in to the P.R.C.A. as a Pro Rodeo announcer which keeps him pretty occupied on the side. Judy Mizell – Office Manager & Event Secretary, judy@worldteamroping.com Judy, aka JuJu, started with Bobby Barter at the start of World Barrel Racing Productions. Everyone that does not know her will grow to love her. Rodeo is definitely bred into her blood as she comes from a stock contracting family, Champion Rodeo Company and barrel raced for many years. She and her husband Dennis have three children: Chad, Cody, and Cara. She was like every other rodeo mom trying to get to six places in three days. Chad and Cody have both married, Chad and his wife, Heather, have given Judy her first grand child. Cody and Laney are soon expecting. Tamra - tamra@worldteamroping.com Nick Lawrence – I.T. Specialist, nick@worldteamroping.com Nick is in charge of all of the computers. This includes networking, web posting, and any other technical devices used in the office. Basically if it is broke he fixes it. There are definitely days that he wants to change his name! Darlene Forshage – Sponsorship Development Coordinator, darlene@worldteamroping.com You may know Darlene by the sound of her voice as she is the person who answers the phones while the other staff is at the events. She has many talents, but sales are a natural talent to her. She utilizes her abilities in sales developing new partner relationships for our companies. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband Allen, and their four children (Blaine, Barron, Scott, and Emily), and traveling. Her dream place to live when she retires is Colorado. |
